The Other Room was founded in 2014 by Ester Gould and Reijer Zwaan. Their creative collaboration immediately paid off with the direction and co-production of the internationally successful documentary STRIKE A POSE (2016), which premiered at the Berlinale and was screened worldwide in movie theaters and by Netflix. The Other Room produces with a radical love for documentary, and selectively chooses films and series that can resonate at home and abroad. The Other Room actively seeks international collaboration and has taken part in EURODOC and IFFR Pro 2022.
